Description

I play dank games on this, such as Gmod, CSGO, and Terraria. Nothing went well in this build

-I got tissue paper stuck in my CPU socket while cleaning off thermal paste

-I needed to remove 8 screws and rip the front out to get to the front fan mounts

-The cable for the fans didn't reach the motherboard headers

-My GPU runs at 80C and I had to disassemble it and replace the horrible thermal paste application job just to keep it at decent/safe temperatures

-The mouse I use has a squeaky scroll wheel

-Every bit you have read is true

-My friend wrote all of this, here's his build https://pcpartpicker.com/b/X4XH99

Part Reviews

CPU

Only 2 threads, bottlenecks almost every game

CPU Cooler

Works on low TDP processors even without a fan

Motherboard

Hasn't killed any components... yet

Memory

No problems so far, looks pretty ugly though

Storage

No data corruption except for my own goofz

Storage

What can you say about this drive, seriously?

Video Card

Bad software optimization. Runs way too hot and loud. Overclocking is a nightmare. Disassembly was easy though

Case

Bad design -Need to remove a useless piece of metal for expansion slot access -need to remove drive bays to access front fan mounts -not a lot of CPU cooler clearance

Power Supply

Not blown up yet

Operating System

My friend bought dis

Case Fan

It's silent even at full PWM speed with the included voltage reducers

Keyboard

-Mushy switches -Dust magnet palm rest -Keyboard flex -Meh lighting -Mouse scroll wheel squeaks It's 25$

You can return your 4440 and get a 4560. It has hyperthreading so it's basically an i3 for $60. Just make sure to update your bios.

Paired with a G4400 and lack luster components (I can insult his rig because I'm the friend that he mentioned)

  • feelsbadman. A +1 to this poor soul.
  • That being said, the only thing potato in this is your processor and case :D Did you try returning the GPU, I have not had nearly as bad luck with RX 470's in client builds, hitting 70's peak on heaven.

Fried replaced the thermal compound and also optimized the power settings a bit so it works a lot better now

I can see that you would make a good Gordon Ramsay replacement.
