Description

This was my first dream build. It is intended for 3d design, work, and gaming. I spent a little over a year planning it and two months working for it. I bought most of the parts on sale over the course of about three weeks. The goal was a white build with enough contrast to make certain parts stand out. I wanted RGB so that I could change its color scheme occasionally. The build was smooth and everything was compatible with no issues. Spent many hours on cable management but I was extremely pleased with the result. I haven't overclocked or benchmarked yet, but I will soon. I added an old phone as a stats screen with a rotating logo.

Future Upgrades: Custom 3d printed fan grills, and other parts with the jigsaw logo. Two more RAM sticks, same ones. Another monitor, smaller and for gaming (144hz). Better mouse, either M65 or MX master.

Let me know what you think.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Keeps the 9900kf icy.

Video Card

Runs everything on max setting no problems.

Case

Great to build in, but could've used more cable space around back.

Monitor

Great value 4k monitor.

Keyboard

Fits the white and silver aesthetic and feels great.

Headphones

Super underrated headset.

This is the big brother to my build but it's Intel. White with RGBs, Redragon keyboard, used for 3D design and gaming. But mine is not watercooled (might later though).

Very nice build, and environment. Can I ask what you’re using on the phone for monitoring stats?

Just realised you’re using an NZXT case so I guess it’s their Cam software. Yes?

Yes, its CAM. Connected to PC as an extended display using SpaceDesk.

I am literally building something similar. What I was concerned with was if the Kraken was able to keep up with the 9900KF. How is it fairing for you under load?

Absolutely icy. Never greater than 65C under load.
