Description

So hello i just finished my build and wanted to share with everyone. as a huge console gamer a friend of mine told me to start playing on pc at first i did not like the idea because iwas alwasy a console gamer owned almost every console from the super sness to ps4. so i started wathing build videos on youtube and i kind of liked the idea of building my own gaming computer. so i put on a list of parts i wanted (most of the i chnged due to budget cut). but in the end i finally saved enough and bought the parts i needed although this pc is not cmpletly done yet some small parts missing ( Cpu cooler aftermarket and better monitor) but i will soon so here is what i have and how i got most of them in here.

CASE: Corsair carbide spec 02 mid tower i got this one no sale and i saw allot of people using it so i went with it. and i love it

Ram: 2x4GB of Kingston Hyperx Fury cause who needs 16 gig?

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB got this also on sale was a good price i will buy a HHD later on for more storage.

Motherboard: MSI 970 GAMING this motherboard screamed my name even tho i saw other cheaper mobos i kept going back to this one and finally i bought it, just look at this MOBO who would not love it.

PSU: i went with the Cooler master G550M its semi modular and it keeps the cables nice and easy to manage.

CPU: As i said i was on a bugdet so i went with the 6 core AMD FX 6300 this is all i needed for gaming and its showing me that it can handle the beat.

GPU: now this GPU was my last purchase the R9 RADEON 270. As i said on the comments i had to RMA the GPU casue it started giving me black scrren. i ended up getting a Nvidia MSI GTX 950 and cannot be happier this card performs fantastic.

Mouse: Trust GTX 25 Gaming mouse Keyboard: Logitech K340 Wireless keyboard

EXTRAS: xbox 360 wired conrtoler i already had laying around and an old monitor 1440x900 but will upgrade this in the future.

and thats it, this was my first build i enjoyed doing this was great. feel free to comment i and have an suggestion i will gladly consider them they are always welcome. i love to learn more as i go by. thank you for reading.

Looks good, I switched over from consoles a couple of months ago and built a similar setup. The r9 270 did its job well, but I ended up upgrading to an R9 390 last month. 2 gigs of a vram wasn't enough. This is a good solid $500 build +1

Great build mate? Also if you do upgrade what will be your choice? R9 380 or gtx 970?

FX 6300 is a great processor. I have my own on 4.6Ghz OC and everything working. Nice build! With a nice water cooler you can increase the performance of this machine.

I think you managed your cables really well. The color scheme seems to work out quite nicely also. Great build! +1

Can't tell for sure, but in pic 5 it looks as though the ram stick isn't in the dimm slot completely. might want to look at that.

Wow..! Thats a really nice PC! Im thinking about switching to a PC and I'm in the final steps. Was the BIOS hard to setup and do you think the graphics are better on your PC?

Thanks, Really like your PC and red theme! +1

Sorry, on the partpicker list it said you needed a bios (motherboard) update. Can't wait to see more pictures!

yes that you need but it is easy just go to the manufacturer site and get them. installing drivers is the easiest part

A friend of mine told me you need an older AMD cpu to do the bios update. Is this true? Or were you able to do the update with just the 6300?

i don't think so everything went fine. i'm not a computer expert but i don't think this is true at all.

Nice build, we do have a lot in common lol. I actually almost bought the case you have too, but went with the Zalman instead.
