Description

My name is Max and after My Cousin Built a pc I wanted to do it to. So I got to work researching and making builds on this site. Because are old PC broke down and my dad needed a new one so he could work from home. So I said I would build one for him. And I built all by myself.

*CPU The I7 8700K is very good for Gaming and doing daily task it has been Very Fast the whole time I’ve been using it and I get very good FPS. My dad says it’s faster than the one at his work.

*CPU Cooler This keeps my CPU very cool but doesn’t give a ton of overclocking headroom. I’ve got To 4.5ghz on all cores but I usually keep it at 4-4.3ghz but I will replace the ugly noctua fan with a Corsair light up one or maybe just a black one.

*Motherboard The Z370-A Pro Is a simple motherboard with no RGB lights or anything and doesn’t look the best but you can overclock with it and has an easy enough BIOS I’ve had no issues

*Memory Looks good in my case wish I had gotten faster memory though.

*Storage The HDD is fast for a HDD but the M.2 SSD looks good and is blazing fast

*Video Card I Mainly Play Fortnite and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege So it is a little overkil. I Cap my FPS at 144 cause my monitor is only 144hz and it never leaves 144 FPS in either game. The photos don’t do the card justice it looks awesome.

*Case This is a very nice looking case and has a lot of cable management features like slots you can put the cables through it is a good case

*Power Supply It’s a power supply

I'm 16 and got a job such as yourself. Over the months May-Nov I saved $1500 for my pc. I was a bagger at a grocery store recently promoted to cashier and my setup keeps getting better tbh.

Nice to know that someone similar in age to me can do something like this! Great build. I'm still in the saving process, but I'm very close. :)

Good build, but why choose that cooler for that case? $50 for cooler gives you plenty great options that would allow you to overclock higher.

idk I got it for cheaper and i might have misordered and I forget why but I might have got it because my computer is whisper quiet with the noctua fan. Yeah and for some reason I wanted an noctua cooler instead of a better air cooler or AIO but I will probaly get an AIO later and iĺl repost my build when i put it in

I would flip the fans the other way around. The exhaust fans should be blowing out not in.

In addition I'm not sure if you are aware but the 8700k turbos to 4.7ghz. 3.7ghz is the base without boost. You should not lock your cores to 4.3ghz you'll be hampering the CPUs own stock performance. 8700ks are normally overclocked to 5hz or more. If you aren't able to you should leave it at stock and let it boost itself to it's turbo of 4.7ghz
