Part Reviews

Video Card

Great card, but the Firestorm software is a bit jankey. RGB will randomly default to red with the app open.

Keyboard

Beautiful keyboard. The RGB works spectacularly with the iCue software. Keys were a little loud, nothing a $10 pack of o-rings couldnt fix.

Just wondering how you managed to get windows 10 pro for just $2.50?

The words "clean room" comes to mind when I look at your build.

Great build.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. My OCD for AV rack building translated to something productive for myself.

Still pretty good. Should I begin to worry? Lol

lol, I'm doing a comparison of Asus motherboards, trying to determine which one is worth it.

Whew. Yeah, I updated everything on it and I haven’t had any problems with it. Tbh I only went with it because it’s white haha

is there enough space for another zotzc 2080 ti?

It would be REAL tight. I think you’d need a bigger case.

I found your build after putting together my parts list and ill say its really beautiful. I've considered doing a full custom water cooling loop but after seeing the simplicity and how clean yours looks I'm starting to reconsider.

Thanks man. That means a lot. I wrestled with the same water cooler predicament and I haven’t thought about it since.

Hi there, may I ask which version of Firestorm you're using? I just got this card and the RGB doesn't work at all.. of course... Zotac has just been telling me to uninstall and reinstall drivers/firestorm but... nothing comes from that.

Thank you!

I’m pretty sure I got the latest version from their site. I find the software iffy at best, but just realized the spectra tab has two settings. RGB at idle and RGB under load.

Thanks so much for the reply. Sorry for the delayed response. I ended up just returning the card.

Hey, started making a high end build with the same motherboard as this build. First may I say this is such a good looking pc. The only differences in this pc an the one I am designing are dual Zotac RTX 2080ti AMP Extremes, a slightly larger case with glass on all sides, and clear sided corsair fans instead of the ones your using. Is there anything in your build that you would change? Especially wondering about the motherboard since it seemed under priced compared to the rest of my build. I'm also using a i9 9900 KS instead of your i7.

Wow, im so bad at responding to these... Im sorry. At this point in time I have zero complaints. The rig plays every game ive tried on max settings with no skips. I think the only thing ill eventually do is watercool it someday. I'm sure at some point ill upgrade to an i9, but i havent had any issues.
