Specs are great for a mid-range gaming build. CPU, excellent. CPU cooler, adequate I assume? Motherboard, great, even though you aren't overclocking, but if you decide to upgrade your CPU to an 8700k at least you have it. Memory, great, but I thought Aegis was geared more towards AMD? Storage, very good. Video card, very good for 1080p 144hz. Power supply, good, even with the current configuration you have enough overhead to overclock the video card. Everything checks out. Enjoy your gaming experience!

Thank you it’s soooo much more enjoyable than playing console. I was so worried I’d mess something up while building but all went well.

No, you're good. Compared to a pre-built gaming PC with similar specs you probably saved a couple hundred bucks.

why do you have a z370 board, even though your processor is locked?

not a bad build though.

He can BLCK overclock the CPU. The CPU needs to be unlocked to change the multiplier.

The only reason for a "Z" board is not only for overclocking. It is a benefit of course.... you always have the option to use a "K" processor at this point if you like.
