Description

Hello! This is my first PC built so I decided to make it look nice. I went for the whiteout look but, it is overwhelmed by the black. It kind of looks nice. CPU - I picked this CPU because all the reviews I have seen this is a really good CPU and the price was not that bad.

CPU Cooler - This thing is a beast. It looks amazing full white with LED fans. Cools really well.

MotherBoard - This motherboard was one of the only ones that fit socket LGA1150 and had white on it. There are motherboards for 300+ but I did not want to spend anymore.

RAM - This RAM is absolutely sexy. All white and really slick. Nice black HYPERX and FURY accents make it even better. I chose this 1866Hz over the 1600 for speed.

Storage - Just a 2 Tb HDD for basic storage. I will have to upgrade eventually. The SSD I picked is for my windows OS.

GPU - This is the card to get! People say that blower style fans are loud and do not cool well. I am not having any cooling problems or sound issues. It does not get that loud under full load. This fit perfectly with my white case and components I had to get it.

Case - I got this case because I wanted a white case that had tons of room for upgrades. The back room sold em instantly. I could hide all the cables that were not needed. It makes it looks super clean.

PSU - 850w PSU for future upgrades! :D

I bought two 12 inch white LED strips but when I received them one was blue and the other natural white. I put the blue LED on the bottom and the white on the top. I think it looks cool with the two colors but would like to get two matching ones.

The keyboard I have listed I have purchased around November 20th and it just shipped January 12th. I am so excited for it. I am using a basic black keyboard we had lying around our house. I am also using a white Logitech mouse I have had more 5 years or so. It works fine for me.

I bought a pair of Astro A40 TR White and they are really nice. They feel good and sound nice. Of course I got the white ones because i am going for whiteout build ..

I decided to build a PC because I have been playing games on my Toshiba laptop for many years and I got tired of playing everything at 20 FPS lowest settings... lol

Well I hope that my description was good enough. I am not much of a writer.

Nice Build! How do you like that CPU cooler for the 4790k? It's the exact one I was looking into.

Thanks! I wish I could give you accurate answers. I really like it but, for some reason I am not getting a accurate reading on the temperatures. It says my CPU is only 35*C under full load.

try using hwmonitor. 35*C under full would be super amazing and probably like liquid nitrogen haha. also make sure the cpu cooler 3/4pin is connected to the MB connector that says CPU FAN (just in case it was connect to OPT1 or CHA FAN haha)

I agree about the blower GPU's! They get loud under load (depending on your fan profile), by which point you won't notice it because you'll have the noise from speakers and be engrossed in a game!

amazing build! I love the white theme and leds and the part selections are great as well! I know you said you haven't had issues with that Asus GPU, is it stable, etc? I was considering it for my Merge Mandate (B&W) build, but I saw many negative reviews on it so I just used my 780 Ti :)

Have you had bad experience with this cooler?

Watch some reviews on youtube, they hate the assembly of it and the overall quality of it sucks, I was thinking about getting it because im doing a white build and the reviews are awful on it, I would go with the Cryorig H7.

How loud is that card?

I would say it is not that loud. I hear my cpu fan over my gpu fan.

Silent on like half load. Amazing card.

I wanna know when its maxed how loud it is. Like for 1440p or maxed graphics on a 21:9 monitor. Just wondering cause I have my case on my desk when I play games

I don't think the 970 is the best option for a 1440p on max but I put the fan up to 100% load once and it sounded like a Jet Engine. Its best to have good case cooling and put the fan on auto and it'll try to stay as quiet and cool as possible.
