Moved to new place 6 month ago and decided that i need a new PC. Also to cheer myself up for the new job.

This PC mainly for daily use with some gaming at night / weekend.

I choose some parts may not be best value for money but those are just my preferences.

The build was put together smoothly, just some hiccup after install windows. I should have notice that the windows 10 version in my usb is obsolete. It give random freeze / restart / cpu errors light on after enable xmp (have to short circuit to reset setting on mainboard) but after update windows with all the patch everything went alright again.

Part Reviews

Probably best CPU price/value atm.

CPU Cooler

I think i should be able to get away with stock cooler but this was on sale on amazon. Oh well...

Expensive, lots of feature that i won't use, at least for now. I was consider between this and Tomahawk MAX but MSI have some SSD/steam wallet code promotion at time of purchase for this MOBO so...

Samsung B-die, 3200 Mhz, CL 14 and most important reason for this is aesthetic. Even my partner love this haha

Does the job fine, haven't notice much different and i don't move large files around

Video Card

I was waiting for custom 5700 XT but decided to go with this due to ebay sale and bored with the waiting game

Good full size ATX case.

32 inch IPS WQHD with versa mount. only down side is refresh rate

Should've used the rx 5700xt instead unless you wanted less performance and raytracing. Overall besides the gpu, good build +1

I've been waiting for custom 5700 xt since March. It's been too long. However, I beg to differ about the 2080 Super performance. Beside the price tag, it has been an amazing card so far.

Are you high? The 2080 Super has much better performance. I think what you meant was that the price per performance was poor.

sorry I thought it was 2060 super, jeez so rude.

love the reasoning for going with the 2080 Super while waiting for a 5700XT lol. How does it feed the monitor while gaming? I want to go with 3440x1440p and hope this would be enough at 100+ Hz as well

I was wondering if the cooler came pre applied with thermal paste?
