This is honestly just a variation of hardware that I've been using for the past year. I saw a forum online in regards to using 3M Vinyl wrap (carbon fiber skinned) on a PC case for a new look. I thought it'd be fun and it was relatively inexpensive so I purchased 2 of these carbon fiber rolls. (Amazon link provided)
Overall, it turned out well on the tower, the monitor is another story, I tried using a heat gun to get a smooth overall finish but I'm simply not skilled enough yet, I plan to tinker with the material I have left to make it look a bit better. The tower wasn't too difficult, I took off the pieces I could off individually and wrapped them. I really appreciate the look it provides to my system, if anyone wants any help or more information feel free to leave a comment! I would absolutely recommend a nice box-cutter style blade that is plenty sharp, a basic heat gun to help mold the vinyl, and a surface you don't mind scratching up. :)
I included some pictures of my scores in Firestrike just for an idea on how it performs as well as the entirety of my hardware.
Hope the pictures do some justice to how nice this turned out in my opinion. :D
P.S: This is the keyboard I have.
I wasn't interested in spending >$100 on a mechanical keyboard, but this fits my needs, has nice switches, and a gorgeous lighting display. I would rate it 5/5 stars if I could find it on this website.
Incredibly fast even though it's not the latest and greatest. Handles my games at 1080p on max settings with ease, handles streaming on twitch at 720p with ease, and it stays nice and cool. It's not a 6700k, but I don't mind.
Talk about surface area. This cooler kept my FX-8320 cool at 4.8GHz and now it keeps my 4790k cool at 4.6GHz. I threw some Corsair fans on here because the stock fans sound like small turbines, and it keeps the temps low without too much noise from the fans or the pump.
Honestly, bought this puppy solely for SLI compatability as well as M.2 support. Haven't had any issues with it, great overclocker, and sexy as can be.
It does RAM things. OC'd to 1866MHz because why the heck not.
Was the best bang-for-your-buck SSD when I purchased it, it's blazing fast and reliable. The SSD hype is so real and so worth it.
Holds mah games. No issues yet!
This card is a freaking champion. Had it stable at just over 1550MHz, which is an impressive OC. It's sexy, the triple-fan cooler is quiet yet incredibly efficient, the thing is a foot-long though, so space might be an issue for some. Going to pick up a second one soon on the cheap for SLI. :D
This is my fifth case, and arguably the best. It's honestly neck-and-neck with the Phanteks Enthoo Pro. It offers a gorgeous enclosure that's simple yet sophisticated, excellent air flow, great water cooling support, plenty of room for cable management, and it supports my lengthy GPU. Honestly the best case on the market at this price point.
Bought this anticipating an SLI set-up. I can't hear the thing, it's gold rated, and has a 1,000,000 year warranty (I think it's 7 years lol). Plus it's sexy wrapped in carbon fiber!
Forced to upgrade. :/ DAM YOU MICROSOFT!
There is a reason they are the most common fans I see on this website, they put in work.
Came with the case, very quiet, and look sexy. Well done Fractal.
144Hz goodness. Excellent display, TN panel so the colors aren't great, but it's incredibly beneficial in shooters where your FPS is above 144, (CS:GO, Overwatch for me).
This mouse has endured literally a thousand hours of gaming and it keeps on going. I beat it more than I'd like to admit and it still provides me the best optical experience I could ask for for $45 bucks. Kudos to Logitech!
Replaced my Razer Kraken Neon Pro's with these, and it was totally worth it. Long gaming sessions don't leave my ears upset, bass is weak, but overall audio quality is crisp and accurate. Built-in microphone is good enough for what I do, but not perfect. Plus they come in a sexy looking white color.
