I use this PC for gaming although it has been more than sufficient for every other type of task that thrown at it so far . It was able to play every game on ultra setting at 60 FPS on my old 1920x1080 monitor. Now on the new 3440x1440 g-sync monitor it can play almost every game on high or ultra setting at a frame rate that is monitor limited to 100 FPS. I got the Asus ROG SWIFT PG348Q 34.0" 3440x1440 100Hz on sale refurbished for 999.99 on Amazon and it arrived in a condition that was as good as new. Do not get a ultra wide Gaming monitor like PG348Q the the one mentioned above unless you are super picky about its unique features and low response time. For most people a much cheaper monitor will be just as good. You also need a powerful graphics card to run the monitor in most games since it will have to drive almost 5 million pixels. The GTX 1070 that I use can run the monitor but when playing games like BF1 on high setting it is using all its power with none to spare. I want to eventually install a second GTX 1070 in SLI configuration so that I can play every game on Ultra graphic setting all the time. The biggest change I would make would be to get a none low profile CPU cooler as it is unnecessary in the case I have and I could have just used a full sized one. The secondary 1080p monitor is super useful when playing games like CIV 6 as I can watch Netflix on one screen and play CIV 6 in glorious ultra wide on the other.
A little louder than I would like, not really that loud, but because of the Blower configuration should be useful when I pop a second GPU into my case. I have no complaints about its actual graphical performance.
Have owned this monitor since 2011 and it has been moved so many times. The monitor still works like new. It is a TN panel so it does not look as beautiful as a IPS will but has great response time and was my primary gaming monitor for 5 years until replaced by my asus ultrawide.
Expensive but you will not find a equivalent monitor for cheaper. Yes it has some backlight bleed but to notice it you have to sit their looking at the monitor in a dark room while it has a dark screen . The backlight bleed has literally never bothered even a little bit while gaming on it or using it for any task at all. All IPS monitor will have some level of backlight bleed and this one has very little in comparison to others.
Its loud when you type due the cherry red mechanical switches but that is just how that type of switch works. I find the click satisfying anyways. Feels great to type on.
Standard wireless mouse. It works.
Wish the controller could talk directly to the PC but this part does its job just fine.
Works great but is too expensive.
