My very first build that I'm really proud of.
Looks good but just a heads up unless your running a board with quad channel support for your RAM you should have those in alternating DIMM slots otherwise you wont be taking advantage of the dual channel (unless I just cant see the other two RAM sticks). If ever in doubt check your MOBO manual it should have a diagram in there for which slots you should put the two ram sticks in to maximize their use on the board. Nice build very clean cabling.
That would also look better imo
Sorry should not type anything after midnight lol, even if you run quad you would still need to alternate.
How could s/he alternate with four dimms there's only four slots!!!!!
... he has two sticks of RAM and 4 DIMMS...... You'll also notice I said unless I just can not see the other 2 sticks or RAM which is possible then is would not matter because every DIMM is filled.... or am I missing something? This also rings true if you are putting 2 different types of RAM in ie 2x 6 gb sticks then you want to throw 2 x 4Gb sticks. They would go into 1 DIMM A and 1 DIMM B which are alternating and 2 DIMM A and 2 DIMM B. Its also why the DIMMs are color coded as you can see the brown and the dark brown on the tabs.
Ok yeah sorry. I think I was being a bit dimm then!!!!!!!!! (Hehehehe)
jhingley is right, from the Asus Sabertooth Z97 Manual(page 25 out of 139 in the pdf file) suggests that if you have 1 Memory put it in SLOT 2(1 2 3 4) if you have 2 memory put it in SLOT 2 4(1 2 3 4) if you have 4 memory put it in all 1 2 3 4. anyways +1
Love these white/black builds! +1
(Better pictures/desc. perhaps?)
Good first build. It looks a lot like RandomFrankP's pc (a youtuber)!
Dual Channel Memory!?
Shall I recommend a qck mouse pad or even a zowie mousepad? It will be much better to play competitive games with low sensitivity.
Look up the movie "hairspray" (also a musical).
