Description

This was my first ever PC build. Everything went swimmingly. I had a budget of $2,300. Wanted a gaming rig in a small tower footprint. Got everything I wanted and then some!

The red card sitting below the GPU, is that a capture card? Totally unexperienced with them

Looks to me like an Asus wireless card.

What sort of games will you be playing on that thing? +1

Well I play a lot of ksp, war thunder, and tf2 right now. Used to play a crapton of minecraft and portal. Cant wait to get gtaV and battlefield. Also space engineers looked promising on my rig but I haven't had time to figure out how to play it!

in pic #5 is the gpu bent up at the end or is that just my eyes?

The card has a backplate with notches in the end of it for the power cables. What you're likely seeing is just an illusion. I see it too in that pic but I guarantee its in no way bent.

Yeah thought so, its not like that in the other pics from what I could see. Good looking build +1

Im building something similar, with the 550 watt power supply, did you have problems with it being below the 980 Ti's minimum 600 watt power supply?

I literally have not seen a single problem with power issues at all. The only thing I can note about my build is an unsolvable self wake up problem. It wont sleep or hibernate without waking 15 minutes later. This should not be related as it was happening before I installed the graphics card. From my research its an issue with windows 8.

But to answer your question, the 450 watt is chugging along nicely. No problems yet. Cannot say for the future. I want to sell my 980ti for the upcoming dual 980ti. I'll more than likely have to upgrade my psu for it anyways.

Yes sir! Didn't need an rgb. Wanted it to match the tower. Got the red backlit version instead because I found it on sale with an open box in perfect condition at frys. Someone probably returned it because tramp stamp logo. I couldn't give a ****.

Tramp stamp is horrendous but $30 off made it worth it.

Ah yes the underglow. I salvaged some molex UV cold cathode tubes I had. Wired them through the psu grate on the case and stuck them there with double sided tape.

He must be gaming in 480p@24hz on a 5" monitor. Give him some slack!

Oh I definitely killed it. I made that list forever ago when I was attempting to plan my build and what stuff I wanted. Kept it as a momento. Lawl.

Also I got a Nokia Lumia 1520.

Awesome build here man! Amazing work! And a big up for a fellow Lumia 1520 user! We are few and far between! I've had mine for a year and a half now and love it more and more every day!

I loved the crap put of it but I seemed to get a lot of **** build quality from Nokia. Had 3 of them actually, and a 1020. Either the screen breaks or its defective in some way. Probably moving to android soon because my 1020 screen is ****** as well... I miss when phone manufacturers used plastic on brick phone screens and they never broke, just scratched. What happened to quality? Haha.
