The original name I had for this build was "Dark1" but that's a little less flashy than "Truth and Reconciliation". Plus, the lights inside + tempered glass remind me of the days I used to stay up as a kid and play Halo : CE on the original XBOX. <3 Good Times.
Anywho, onto the build!
So I sold my previous PC for $400 + Paycheck and Savings to buy this little beast, and it's beautiful. Probably the cleanest build I have done (even though it's my second, I'm proud ok).
I was actually pretty suprised with the Thermaltake fans they look great and are super quiet. I've yet to install windows yet, but could't resist uploading my first PCPP build. Love this site!
Parts with adjusted pricing were kept from previous build
UPDATE: More pictures! Excuse my potato quality, I haven't slept since the build :,) UPDATE 2: Reviews added!
The packaging is beautiful & the performance is AMAZING. Even not OC'd! Coming from an OC'd i5-4690k @ 4.5Ghz for 4 years this things chews anything I throw at it, right up, and I am LOVING it. Do keep in mind though it can run a little warm (if you were to OC), so if it were up to me I'd have it delidded already but. I'm impatient, and don't need it right now so that can wait :p
I bought this because my AIO Cooler in m last build gave out after 4 years (dissapointment). But wow, what can I even say about this thing. IT'S AWESOME! Keeps my i7-8700k at upper 20's on idle in a room with little to no A/C. Absolutely beautiful beast. Looks even better with my purple lights shining on it. <3 Nocuta.
It's simple. It works. Plus it was one of the cheapest Z370 boards at my time of purchase so I'd say worth it. I like that it has lot's of good I/O without going overboard on it.
Sweet, sweet 3200 ram. XMP'd in one click.
This thing has lasted me forever, nothing much to say about it other than it works! and works damn good.
Bought this before the crypto GPU drought. And wow was I lucky. Does everything I need in VR and 1080p, streaming etc.
I was not expecting this case to be as gorgeous as it was, but I can barely stop looking at it. Super easy to build in. RGB LED's are a big plus.
I turned the switch on and it worked!
These fans actually perform really well and are silent? From ThermalTake too?? What kind of alternate universe is this?
All I gotta say it why buy Corsair's overly expensive fans when you can get your hands on these.
