Description

I went with an APU to keep the price down however I plan to add a graphics card soon (Asus R7-260x). Runs all games I've tried so far pretty well at 720p and low to medium settings. Easy to build and it looks fantastic. I also plan to add another 4 GB stick of the same RAM.

Looks good, however...instead of grabbing a video card consider going for a 2x4GB set of 2400mhz memory in dual channel that works for your board. remember, memory speed greatly affects fps when you are using an APU

yeah, I have an HP laptop with an APU and ram speeds of 1600 :/... while a person I know has 2400mhz and gets ~5 fps more... lol.

His build now is great as it is, with great value and decent performance. He could better invest the 100$ from the 2x4GB 2400MHz RAM on a dedicated graphics card which will improve his FPS count more than the RAM could ever do.

+1 on the build, would love to see more pictures from the inside/cable management.

the 7850k is a great choice for budget builds, especially like the low power draw.

Great cheap build! If possible I would fit in one more 4gb ram stick with your vid card purchase, that way you get the extra bandwidth from running dual channel and more bandwidth always helps with driving data to the video card.

Looks like a great build. Love that you managed to stick with a color scheme at this price range. :o
