Idea : Upgrade to a STRIX 1070, so you can set the LEDs to purple. That would bring a really subtle purple accent.

or to a Zotac AMP! Extreme gtx 1070 so he has those yellow stripes and can make the "PUSH THE LIMIT" purple.

It's funny cause I don't like the color yellow lol but I got a decent deal on the board and I couldn't pass it up since its a great board, right now my plan to not spend much money is to probably pick up a used strix 970 and run them sli for now then see what new gpus come out later and then I'll end up going back to 1 and put it in the loop

Is the front cut out part of the design or a DIY mod? Same question for the yellow trim around the power button and the top edge.

Also gorgeous build, +1 forever

I cut the front and painted everything else

Beautiful... How did you make the cut in the front for the fans?

used a straight edge to line everything up and then masked the lines with painters tape. then just cut it with a dremel. finished the edges up with 400 grit sandpaper.
