Description

This is my current build. Had the monitors , mouse, head set, keyboard, sound bar... Also have a Sony 10 inch powered sub for a big kick of bass. Hope you guys like it. Look for some scores on Twitter @defcon1976. Also have some pretty nice benchmarks on 3D Mark http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9491951 and HWbot. http://hwbot.org/user/d3fc0n1976/ This is the third build I have done in 10 years and must say it is the best. Started with a brand name PC with a P4 3.2 and have been hooked ever since. Went to a custom EVGA 680 with a Q6600 and 3 way 8800 Ultras. After that got old went to AMD, bought the first FX4100 and went through several AMD gfx cards from 7700 to 7780 then to an R9 280. This is by far the most powerful PC build and the most expensive. I will be working on a custom EKWG set up to throw in this Razer H440 but want to get a custom solid glass side window made and cut out the 3.5" drive bay to mount a helix style reservoir. I have had the 6600k up to 4.71 stable, greatest CPU I have ever had. I am really impressed with Gigabytes Z170x Gaming 7 mother board and GTX1070 G1 Gaming card. Solid so far and I have beat them up pretty bad trying to push them. The card seems to like a GPU clock around 1962 and memory clocks around the 8048 range using Gigabytes software. For some reason Afterburner will not unlock the voltage for me even if I check the box to unlock it. I have been using a combination of Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility and BIOS setting to overclock the CPU. I have it currently running at 4.61 with my Corsair Dominator XMP profile at 3k. Very good temps at idle around 38c and under heavy load 80 to 90% around 70c with the NZXT Kraken x61. My only issue so far is with the GTX1070. It does not like virtual resolutions of 2k and 4k. My R9 280 handled it very well but I can not seem to get the blurry screen to clear up no matter how much I play with the DSR smoothness. Games look fine but desktop browser surfing and text is horrible. Hope you guys find this useful. Any suggestions please leave me a comment.

I have had a few pm's on the desk. It is one I built to hold the set up with the triple monitors. I am thinking of building a new one using black and green Formica to match the set up.

I had to do it........ I bought a Firefly mouse pad. It so slick. Best Buy had it on sale and I had $25 Reward Zone credit so I got it for $15 bucks. Woot woot Ima sucka for a deal

Yeah, hope this gets featured, but you would have a hard time beating the current one.

For 750 you can buy a high end Acer monitor which is far better than 3 1080p screens.

Have the same picture of your center screen. Except I opened it in paint and blacked out the words. Made it look much cleaner. At least one a single monitor setup. Great build!

Extremely nice pc build and also i love your gaming room. I would suggest the Samsung ssd 850 Evo! You have 3 VG248QE well color calibrated as i think and i cant calibrate mine :P Also do you have any GPU coil whine while gaming without V-sync turned On?

Nice razer build you got there. I really like how you have green lights on the top and back of the case. May I ask you, does that affect any airflow at all? How did you put the LED strips on the top and make the back glow like that for the first 3 image?
