Description

Still in work in progress. I just order some cablemod cables. Right now I am using extension. Which would be fine if it where an ATX build

In order to make the Cryorig R1 you have to take out the left heatsink on the motherboard. Honestly I am really tired of these gamer like heat stinks on these new motherboards. I loved the heat sinks on Z170 and X99 motherboard.

MSI GTX 1070 Quicksilver is my favorite GPU. I love how it looks and its the sole reason why I will not move to the 1080ti series. No gpu looks like it

Why did you buy windows 10 pro? The only real reason you would NEED it would be for high ram capacity systems and a few other reasons that absolutely wouldn't matter for any gaming pc.

I got my Win10 Home as OEM but it came as a disc, I got it on sale but paid for it, its worth it to get an official sanctioned copy of windows.

I got the winsows pro key off ebay $5.00 bucks

With that said. I did buy a windows physical copy from best buy a long time ago. I use it to install windows 10 and then use keys off ebay to activate liscenses.

The heatsink get in the way of the R1 heatpipes. The way I place the cooler. They is no way to mount it.

I bought the Asrock Gaming board and it fits just fine without having to remove the heatsink, I was told it even has a better heatsink for the VRMs but lacks a second M.2. I don't use M.2 drives so for now it's fine for me and I didn't have to remove anything.

I just noticed you have the h200 with the R1, what is the clearance? Might change out to that one tbh as the enthoo itx has a bad front panel

How was it for you to fit the R1 on the H200? Too tight? or any more complications when doing so, I've read that you had to remove the MB heatsink, so no need to repeat what has been said already.

Thank you.

You have to remove the heatsink close to the I/O to install the R1. Tired of Asus over priced crap at times

Would you happen to have a picture of the board without the heatsink you removed?
