Description

This is my first build, sorry for the terrible cable manage ment

Edit, thanks you guys, i worked a little bit on the cables, still messy but getting there, also I moved SSD and HDDs down, but kind concerned me they will be over heated in such a small space

Edit2 : Rearrange SSD

Well, at least you know the cable management is bad. Try to fix it in the future though, will make for better air flow and such.

Pretty decent part selection mate. How is the trident X? I am considering it for my build. I see you went with an $80 blu ray drive so why the cheap gpu cooler? Also we have the same headphones :P

Thanks! As far as I can tell they works great. The blue-ray driver is actually only $40, and I replace the cooler on the list with a Corsair H90, still cheap, but works fine.

Hate to break it to ya but that CPA cooler is not a Hyper 212 Evo.

I always confuse myself between a phanteks primo and an nzxt phantom, the two are similar in appearance.

I would suggest you reposition all your drives into the bottom cages and then remove the top hard drive cage to allow better and more direct airflow to your components.

Thanks, I will be looking into that

Just wondering : What kind of use on this build ? And why did you took a so high frequency for your RAM (2933) ?

Should be 2400, sorry my fault :P

AAhhh ok. But there's a real improvement to go 2400 instead of 1600 on gaming ?

What are you using the build for? Looks very solid. CPU and GPU look to be a little overkill, but who does not like overkill :D

You mentioned the cable management so I wont go in to it.

Part choices look great with the exception of why the GTX 780Ti for that price you could have bought the 980 and got a little better performance. Unless you paid less for the 780 and if so please adjust price. My second issue is the cable management, with that case cable management is very very easy. Apologies for terrible cable management are not necessary. It is your build and you do with it as you please. I just know it hurts the eyes of PC build fans. It is fixable though and I can assure you that if you fix it and upload a pic of that you will get some higher ratings here. Other than that overall I think your build will serve you well for some time.

I see 2 hard drives and a solid state..not one hard drive and a solid state....From reading the comments, you should manually adjust the prices.

Edit: If you're only using 16gb of ram, then you should have gone with 4x4gb sticks...just imo...Great build other than cable management. Which you explained..+1
