Description

I use this box for a mixture of work and competitive gaming.

Quite a pain to work in the A1 when you have to do any troubleshooting

Those CPU's run extremely hot , you should look at delidding, your graphics card temps are high as well unless those are prime 95 temps you need better cooling. It looks good but I would be concerned with those thermals.

I would definitely not recommend delidding a soldered IHS. 9900k is a bit much for a 120mm AIO. Though, I would try flipping all the fans to intake and leaving the 120mm aio as your only exhaust. You have three components fighting for air in a small box, w/ itx its almost always best to force as much air into them as you can.

Or just make the aio intake so that it gets fresh cold air and not the hot air inside.

temps are fine for me.. i'm able to run a 4.9ghz all core overclock with this AIO, max temps in AVX workloads is 89c, but i mainly use it for gaming anyway and it never goes above 65 in games

Sounds ok, about as good as your going to get with that cpu in your set up. I would still try to get a bigger AIO if I was you.

Unfortunately can't delid that CPU like you can the 8700k.

You learn something every day, I didn't know it was soldered, that worries me a lot as it means that intel have taken special measures to cool it down and it's still running very hot. The best cooling that you can fit and more airflow is your only way then.

These folks do and it's legit:

However the temperature drops aren't as drastic with the soldered chips. Great build!

Nice build ! Could you tell more about temp idle and in game ?
