Description

Daily driver, started as a gift from my uncle (cpu, gpu, hdd, ssd, psu, and another case). Bought my own case, as I'm a weirdo regarding design likes, absolutely hating minimalist modern design and loving most older designs. Found an outlet cpu cooler from coolmod (7€ even though it originally cost 60€ in 2006), modded the mount bracket from lga775 to 1151. The PC has Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 and as intel doesn't support kaby lake or newer cpus on Win7, it doesn't update at all. The case came with 120mm installed on rear and 140mm on front, it is possible to install another 120 or 140(i think) on top too, not planned yet though. have planned to install a sound card and optical drive sooner or later, and maybe a fan controller. The front "turbines" are supposed to be lit, but my psu came without molex power cable...

While my PC excels in some areas, you have me beat on VRAM and RAM capacity, that is I have an EVGA GTX 950 SC+ with 2GB VRAM and only 10GB of RAM. But if you could turbo that pentium it'll beat my I7-870 in frequency.

I dont like the case like what most people seem to agree on, But i love the querkiness that you have to get such a unique system.

I do agree with you on older cases looking nicer. Even though i do appreciate some of the newer modern cases, and the interiors especially blow me away with the rubber grommets, side panels and other features like unique storage areas.

But i also love some of the older cases and one day i hope to build a really cool old style PC with 2xGTX 670s 2GB each in SLI just to show this off. Maybe an old HAF case if i can get my hands on one, or even something like the old full towers.
