Description

My second PC build and i thought i would stick AMD as prices are good and really good performance. My first PC build still runs really well so i based a lot of parts in this build off the first build. I stuck with Corsair products in this build for performance and their I cue software which syncs all there products and puts on really nice RGB lighting effects and well worth spending the extra money. I must say this build was a lot easier then the first mainly being the case has a lot of room and made installing everything really simple. I didn't want a snow white PC which is why i bought black fans and i wanted it to match my GPU. This PC runs super quiet and plays every game with ease and i am super happy with how it performs. I have a few upgrades to do shortly like changing the case lights and upgrading mouse and adding extra ram but will post new photos once i do.

Part Reviews

CPU

Works good. Got on special for $200 AUD clearance. Have Ryzen 2400g in my other PC and this runs so much smoother and faster opening multiple tabs and gaming etc. I used the stock cooler in my other PC and the RGB on the stock cooler looks pretty good for stock!!!

CPU Cooler

Really easy to install. Syncs up with I cue software and all my other Corsair products to put on a good RGB show. I love that i can change the fan and pump speed from quiet to extreme etc. This runs really quiet and looks really nice! I wanted the white cooler to match my Corsair case which is the only reason i bought the Platinum edition. Would definitely purchase this product again!!!!

Motherboard

I used this Motherboard in my first PC build and i had to buy another for my second build!! Good price and it has built in RGB and WIFI/Bluetooth and many USB ports etc. The only downfall i must say is no USB 3.2 Gen 2 internal plug so i can not use my case USB C port but the Motherboard itself has a USB C port external. Have had no problems with install/MSI software and my other PC uses the same Motherboard and have had no issues at all.

Memory

Easy to install! Looks great especially in white and syncs nicely with I cue software to match all the the other Corsair products. Highly recommend!

Storage

Good price and boots pc to loading screen in under 10secs. I only use this as boot drive and i highly recommend runs really great!

Storage

Runs really good and so much better then noisy HDD. I use this as my game drive and have had no issues. Highly recommend.

Storage

Runs like any other HDD. Noisy but does a good job and performs well!! I only used this as was left over my previous build.

Video Card

Paid premium top dollar for this card when it was released is much nicer looking and quieter then the first edition blower style cards. Pricey but i am super happy with how it performs. I had a little trouble with software and a few games glitching and having free-sync 2 issues but installed new update and all runs perfect. Highly recommend!

Case

Super happy i made the decision to use this case. I love how much space it has and how the PSU has a separate area with the hard drive enclosures, it makes tidying and hiding all those cables so much easier!! Everything is so easy to build with and the front 3 fans are installed on a removable tray which has a magnetic dust filter and makes cleaning dust etc so much easier. The bottom fans have another removable dust tray which slides in/out and the top radiator mount is removable which makes mounting the cooler/cleaning the dust even more easier. Glad i spent the extra dollars on a bigger/decent case and it comes pre mounted with 3 x Corsair LL120 fans and the lighting node to run them etc. Highly recommend this case!!!!

Power Supply

Looks really nice and runs super quiet due to the fan not running until hardcore gaming lol. Really happy with purchase and the white cables are a bonus and look good too.

Operating System

Thought i could use my other PC copy of windows 10 and buy another key but nope had to buy a whole copy of windows again for the new PC. Works good and does the job!

Case Fan

Best looking fans and i love the RGB it looks super nice and well worth paying the extra dollars. Highly recommend.

Case Fan

Best fans. Bought bigger size for the rear exhaust fan and looks really good.

Hey man thanks for the comment! The Corsair case has a radiator bracket which is easily removable with 2 thumb screws and i thought no point spending all that money on such a beautiful case and not spending an extra few hundred to complete the look with the cooler plus good for future upgrades and looks really nice lol!!! Might upgrade CPU and motherboard at christmas but will update if i do. Thanks again. Jay
