Description

The culmination of me saving up for a LONG time. I was able to get it fully operational by myself with about 7 hours and a couple youtube videos. There were originally some problems with cable management, front panel connectors, and one of the sticks of RAM working. As of now, everything is fine, and it games like a beauty.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great processor! Looking back though, I'd much rather gone with a ryzen 5/7. Had some trouble gaming and streaming though.

CPU Cooler

Great temps, great RGB lights, looks very sleek. Only beef I have would be the similar thermals of the corsair h100 series for half the price.

Motherboard

It's a motherboard... Looks nice though!

Memory

RAM is RAM, the lighting is awesome when the software works, it's still in beta though. A bit buggy.

Storage

Nice looking? It's an SSD.

Video Card

Great card. Quiet, easy to use drivers, looks very sleek, and the RGB lights are a nice touch. Just for me though, I play overwatch more than anything, so it was a little overkill. I can play OW at max settings at 130 fps average... a little much, but an INCREDIBLE combo with the 144 hertz, 1440p, 27 inch monitor.

Case

Perfect case for the white and purple theme. The full tempered glass side panel is beautiful, and is great at showing off the new side SSD mount.

Power Supply

This was insanely overkill for what I needed, I have no idea what I was doing picking this PSU, I guess it does the job so no problems here.

Operating System

It's windows 10.

Case Fan

Really nice RGB touch to the build.

Monitor

This monitor was a great buy. 144hz overclockable to 165 is great. VERY slim bezels. Really nice stand.

Custom

Really nice design, looks great in the full tempered glass side panel. My one problem was that it doesn't have enough power to make it all the way to the end of the second strip through the connectors. This isn't really a designer flaw, I just need to go back in and use the second port it comes with, just kinda lazy though.

I just really like abstract art, I used a sponge brush, a tooth brush, and red, blue, and white paint

I love the paint job on the case and the overall color scheme however I think that the GPU-cables are meant to go though the cutout through the basement. Other than that ocd this is an awesome build. :)

Does the Kraken cover that first RAM slot? I'm planning a similar build.

A GPU is a graphics card, I'm not sure what you're asking

Does the NZXT hue always shine purple, or can you switch the color on the white box? Can it be turned on/off?

I'm actually not sure, I haven't tried to change it because I have a white and purple themed build. The black one has a white light if you can't stand the purple

Thank you for doing that, and I want to rap up that this is by far my favorite pcpartpicker build ever and one of the most creative and thought out, no joke.

hey I saw you bought the monitor i was thinking of buying. The tn predator. I was wondering how the color is and if you like it? I was debating between this one and the ips one I want to know if its worth the 150 dollars more to get 3ms less and an ips display. thanks!

I absolutely adore the monitor, it allows me to combo with the 1080ti like nobody's business. If you're willing to spend the money, it's a great buy
