So far, this is my favourite build that I've completed. Some of the hardline tubing was very difficult, taking 3 or more attempts to get it looking right, but I'm happy with the result. Thanks to Fractal Design for providing me with their new Define S2, it seriously was a breeze to mount everything in!

Feel free to ask any questions down below!

I you think the build looks good, check out the video

Just did and hit subscribe, nicely done. Don’t think I’m ready for custom cooling yet but I could see one of those hulking Dark Rocks in there.

Thanks for watching!

The uniform matte colouring is so damn sexy! All the space is used for good. Nothing crampy, very satisfying to look at. And very capable!

As a mechatronics I can appreciate your custom cable work even more. * __ * I like it when the psu shroud doesn't have to be opened for the rad.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I could have positioned the 280mm radiator lower but I like that dense look.

rocketracer111 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

;)

Maybe, but for me aswell the dense look is a crucial part of its sexyness.

One of the nicest if not the best build I’ve seen here. Very clean, efficient looking, more like some kind of exotic power plant than a PC. I’ve thought of doing an all black/drab build now even more convinced.

Wow thanks a lot!

Yep, I know what the next feature is! Love seeing all these 2950X builds popping up. It's such a beastly CPU. Very clean work that really shows what the Define R6 is capable of.

What ASUS PCIe card is that?

asone_ submitter 7 Builds 1 point 5 months ago

It's their 10 Gigabit network card that comes with the Zenith Extreme

Am I the only once noticing no intake fans?

asone_ submitter 7 Builds 2 points 5 months ago

They were flipped after photos / videos. Complete oversight on my end!

Sweet build!

You have the R6 as your case in the Part List, might want to switch that to the S2.

hotrod54chevy 1 point 3 months ago

I don't think they were listed on PCPP when this was built. Also, now that Newegg lists support only for ATX and not EATX it says that the S2 is incompatible. Did you have any trouble with cables? I know sometimes the board can block the grommets.

Fantastic looking build!! Quick question regarding the front radiator. I see that you opted for the SE 280mm (28mm height). Would a CE 280mm (45mm height) fit with the same PE 360mm top mounted radiator?

Azee 1 point 2 months ago

Is this the r6 or s2?

Nick.123 -5 points 5 months ago

What do you use the 16 cores for? Do you run a lot of virtual machines or do you use it for editing? I do not know of much things that take advantage of 16 cores, but there is probably a lot of jobs that can use 16 cores.

I was just asking what he was doing with it because I was curious. That is an expensive processor and it is not known as a cpu used for gaming, but rather productivity/work. Sorry for asking a question.
