I FINALLY got my cable mod cables after waiting like, a month for them. (Seriously, they take ******* forever to get to you once ordered). So I tore everything down and did a bunch of cable management. I also got the covers I wanted printed. However, I need to drill some holes in the PSU cover to make flush. AIO sleeves kinda suck (they're just...not what i'd thought they would be). I might try some from another company. I'm waiting on a few stickers to come in also to finish my HDD covers with. I've added an LED strip to behind the MSI GPU bracket that you can't see but it's awesome because it lights up the bottom side of the mobo which I can do either white or rainbow.
But regardless check out the new pics!
It's mandatory you listen to this song while looking at this build.
I haven't gotten the custom cables / aio sleeves yet but..i'm still basking in it's awesomeness. Extremely powerful build for VR supersampling to 2.0. Loving this setup right now.
Some notes about the build.
It's beautiful, however there are definitely some qualms I have about it. If you go with a dual radiator (140mm) setup at the top of the case. Regardless of what ram you use, it's going to be an extremely tight fit with a standard atx motherboard. Taking the ram out for any reason requires a steady hand, and a super small flat head screwdriver. You have to take out the last stick, then remove the fan thats above it, THEN you can take out the rest. This effectively makes the whole "top fan bracket" thats removable pointless as you can't drop the whole setup without taking the ram out. KMON CORSAIR. Another thing is the power supply area. The shielding around the power supply isn't removable. And even though on that piece of shielding it looks like there are screw holes for a cover, it doesn't come with a cover. Leaving all the cables (if you don't go custom) looking totally bunched up as you're definitely going to have to stuff your access down there. Besides that though I love this case, it's solid and besides those two problems, well engineered.
LL Series Fans -
When installing them last night, I completely disregarded that you might want to ensure the orientation is correct as you're unable to change the rotation of the LED's in corsair link. As of right now, I need to rotate 3 fans because the patterns like pong aren't showing up correctly. So either test before installing or get some kinda bearing on how the orientation is supposed to be before installing so you don't have to do it over again. Thankfully, i'm going to tear it apart one last time when my cables come in so it's not that big of a deal for me right now but..it's definitely kinda annoying.
MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti Gaming X Trio -
I just wanna say that this card is ******* rad. Idles with the fans turned off..doesn't go above like 68c during a burn, honestly just overall blown away at the card. The boost clock is damn near 1800mhz out the box with no overclocking. It's an excellent card.
Anyways thats all the details about the build as it stands now.
Any questions just let me know in the comments! :D
