This build has been published earlier, but now it has reached final form. I think. The computer itself will go on the floor eventually.
It is my daughter's computer and it is mainly used for Overwatch, Star Stable Online, Minecraft and homework. In due time, I'll hook up a Wacom as she loves to draw. The webcam on the tripod is mainly used as a microphone for Discord and speed drawing.
The CPU performs amazingly and the CPU cooler is really blowing my mind. Storage-wise, we're good for the moment but there's plenty of room to grow in that department. Especially since the case is fantastic in every respect. The power supply is most likely the first thing to replace. It performs well but it could be more silent and modular would, obviously, be preferable.
I do realise that the 1060 Founder's Edition is a strange choice but I really appreciate standard solutions, so, that is that.
I really do love that keyboard and the mouse is great for my daughter's hand but on the small side for me. The Elgato capture card, well, the software is great for basic streaming of Star Stable Online.
The monitor is really great considering the price point. Nothing to complain about.
Regarding prices. I've converted the Swedish prices (SEK) to us dollars (USD) with google.
Well there you go!
For that price? oh my god.
Relatively easy to install and performs great! No compatibility issues and good looks. Silent as silence. Buy one, please!
Basic in every respect. But does the job great!
Nothing to complain about.
Good looking and classic. Reasonable price and nice software.
So, it would of course be nice to be able to go below 38% RPM on the fan. But I knew that when I bought it. Bought it for the looks.
outstanding. Stable as duck.
I would actually pay more for at least semi-modular and zero rpm-mode. But it does what it claims that it will do.
