UPDATE - Almost 5 months later and it's still going strong! I could not be happier with this build. It's perform astronomically well and surpassed all my expectations. I included a new pic with my current temps at idle.
After 8 years using an AMD Phenom II Black Edition CPU and a GTX 470, it was time for an upgrade. After having caught a glimpse of the new Corsair 280x RGB Crystal case, I knew I wanted to build out of it - A sleek, minimalistic design and a smaller form factor that I wanted to try out. And, having finished building in it, I'm extremely happy with it.
The case comes smaller than it looks in pictures, but not in a bad way by any means. It's a great boxy design and it's wonderful to build in, with plenty of places to route cables and tons of open space in the back to stash them once you've routed them. And, that brings be to this case's best feature - the dual chamber layout. If you haven't tried this yet, you HAVE to. I couldn't ever imagine going back to a regular case again. Things just look so much cleaner when you stash the PSU and the drives in the back of the case.
Lastly, I know people are afraid of potential temperature issues. I was as well. Personally, my temps have been great and I haven't had any issues whatsoever.
Thanks for checking it out!
