1080/1440p and the occasional 4k gaming. Started the back in 2017 only having a g4560 on a budget MSI b250 motherboard with a gtx 1060 and 2x8 hyperx fury ram, costing me no more than £500. It ran games smoothly at around 60fps at the time, but within a few months in the GPU started artifacting. Took the plunge and went for a EVGA GTX 1070 FTW to replace it, and only having a low end CPU I knew that I had to upgrade the whole set up to get rid of that bottle neck. So to try to keep the costs down I went for the i5-8600k with the Z370 tomahawk, 750w psu, more ram and upgraded the case to the meshify c. Over time I added the Deepcool castle AIO, ram and case fans. A few months past and the RTX range was released and took the gamble on the EVGA RTX 2070 XC Ultra Gaming and that's how I've had it for the past 9 months.
The biggest issue I came across was with the cooler blocking one of the ram dimm slots, so I could only fit 3 sticks of ram into my system. It might work with a stick that's not got a shroud around, but it would not look right within the system
