Description

Hello Everyone,

I built this PC a few months back consisting of parts that I found used. The purpose of this build was to have something small, yet powerful and doesn't break the bank. You may notice that it's using a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 960 but that will soon be replaced with an ASUS Strix 980ti. Anyway here's a rundown on the parts.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 1700x

It's a very nice CPU but I would've opted for the regular 1700 due ot the lower tdp but I couldn't refuse the price I was getting for it. It's sitting at stock clocks for now until my parts for a custom loop arrive.

CPU COOLER - AMD Wraith Spire RGB (95 Watt TDP Cooler)

Very good stock cooler. I just liked the RGB additions and I couldn't be bothered finding anything else.

MOTHERBOARD - ASRock X370 Gaming - ITX/ac

This board is amazing for the price. Even though the colours do clash (for now) the RGB Leds on the Ram, CPU Cooler and Graphics Card all overdo it.

RAM - G.SKill Trident Z RGB - 16gb DDR4 3000

The Ram is the best in my opinion. It has a nice and minimal heat-spreader and quite obviously RGB which is the icing on the cake

PSU - Corsair RMx 550W

Amazing PSU for the money. It's fully modular and has nice flat black cables. I did however throw on some Cablemod White Extensions to make it look crispy.

CASE - Fractal Design Define Nano S

The Airflow is amazing and is easy to work in unlike most itx enclosures. There are handy grommets and lots of space to cable manage. The only thing I did wish for is a perforated PSU Shroud and Tempered Glass. However I am in the middle of fabricating one to get CNC'd and getting a TG Panel for the mount made by MNPCTECH.

STORAGE - 1TB Seagate Barracuda and Crucial M4 128gb SSD

The work great but are due to be swapped out. For help with cable management for the water cooling and custom sleeved cables from Endsourced I am gonna replace the Sata SSD with an M.2 and get a 1tb 2.5" drive to help add some space

We have almost the same setup minus the case and the PSU. It is a great holy l build... I have the Cooler Master haf x which isn't bad but cable management was a b****. I took my old 8350 and parts with a GTX 970 and built a media PC with a fractal design case and I fell in love. I'm contemplating changing my case.
