Description

Mostly used for gaming. Runs most game at high-ultra settings. It doesn't have as much custom parts as I'd like but I hope to change in the near future.

Part Reviews

CPU

Amazing for the price. I overclocked mine to 4.5 GHz and the 6 cores deliver great multi-core performance.

CPU Cooler

Went with this because it was much cheaper than the 212 evo but I'm glad I did. It's a little loud but with headphones it's not noticeable. Cooling performance is very good.

Motherboard

It's a budget board. It fits my color scheme and it does what I need it to do. 4 RAM slots and 2 gpus.

Memory

Not the best but it looks hella good.

Storage

Probably one of the best HHDs.

Video Card

Performance is stellar however I wish I had waited till the 1060 or 1050ti

Case

Unique case with decent cable management. I like the side grills instead of tempered glass, it looks more rustic.

Power Supply

I really wanted to get a modular power supply. Only buy this if you must!

Case Fan

Cheap, sexy, quiet, great airflow.

Monitor

Meh. I got it for free so I can't complain.

It should be. I'm not sure how else to install it.

Nice aesthetics for the budget, gotta say. Nice job.

Thank you :)

Should've gotten a Pentium G4560. Despite it only haveing only 2cores/4threads, it'll vastly outperform the fx 6300 for around the same price. Plus you'll get the benefit of having upgrade paths to the core i5 and i7. While the fx 6300 is on the outdated AM3 socket

Ya that probably would have worked a lot better

ctf05 1 point 4 months ago

what's so bad about the psu?

cosmicEXmachina submitter 1 Build 1 point 4 months ago

It's pretty ugly (cables and actual PSU) and only bronze certified.

Jeeva_ 1 point 3 months ago

What did you expect for a budget PSU? All PSUs in that price range are the same.

cosmicEXmachina submitter 1 Build 1 point 3 months ago

I got exactly what I expected and paid for. I'm just saying, next time I'm going with a modular PSU

Jeeva_ 1 point 3 months ago

Okay Cool. But why the one star rating?
