Description

This PC is built because my work needs me to transfers between cities so I decided to built a portable but powerful (based on my budget) PC.

Part Reviews

CPU

3.4GHz i5 is enough for me to do some gaming and productivity apps. The temps are acceptable in my tiny hot box.

Motherboard

Where to put a non-overclocking Ivy Bridge proccessor? This one is the answer. Built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, decent amount of USB's and Gigabyte's Ultra Durable Series gives you little to worry.

Memory

Little overkill for this build, but Corsair never disappoints me.

Storage

Not the fastest, nor the sexiest. 128GB is just enough for common Windows apps. Just make sure you clean it regularly.

Storage

This is where my data mostly sits. Designed to be used within 24-hours, this is the best that can handle it. However the noise is a little unbearable. Not ideal for silent seekers.

Video Card

For my gaming in full HD, this is more than sufficient. High settings and sometimes Ultra gives me decent 30-60fps. Although not much difference with 2GB model, I think I've overspent in this area. For Full HD gaming I recommend go up to R9 model.

Case

This case comes with the 450W PSU. Backpack-able chassis and support for moderately long GPU, also excellent build quality. Cable management is a horror, maybe upgrade to modular PSU is preferrable.

Monitor

Actually my model is LG 22MP67HQ 21.5" 60Hz. I choose IPS panel because of color accuracy. But suffers in gaming as ghosting effects quite visible.

Keyboard

El Cheapo Logitech MK100 w/ Optical Mouse. It's black. It's cheap. It's Logitech. What else do you want?

Headphones

I bought this a few years ago and still delivers 'enough' sound for me. If it ain't broke, I don't intend to replace it.
