This machine was purpose built for content creation while trying to be "economical." The idea was to try to fit as much multi-threaded computing horsepower as possible in a mid-tower case. Just because everything under the hood is beastly, doesn't mean the exterior needs to consume all available desk space in sight, right?

After putting it together, and really taking in the aesthetic of the machine, I dubbed it the "PWR Ranger" because the RGB lights can be manipulated to make it harken back to pretty much any member of the Power Rangers. When Leena Butt photographed it, we were trying to evoke memories of the Red Ranger.

I've been using it for the past week and it's clear this is way too much machine for me :-) Accordingly, I am making it available for sale - if you're a content creation maestro looking for a new rig, this would be a perfect fit! I appreciate any thoughts/comments/questions on the build and would be happy to address them as best I can.

how are the temp for the threadripper ? I didn't think you could cool this beast with a fan cooler this small... Oo

I can get exact idle and load temps this evening. The pictures might be creating an optical illusion - the heatsink height is 165mm and the fan is 140mm with a 150mm frame :-)

Easily considered one of the most robust air coolers on the market, and tailor-made for the TR4 socket type.

Ambient - 25C

Idle - 34.38 C

Load - 62.25 C (Prime95 small FFT stressing L1/L2/L3 and generating max temperature)

If the Power Rangers theme is stuck in your head, my work here is done :-P

The eVGA card comes factory overclocked and is set to the Master BIOS which doesn't engage the fans until a threshold is reached. As such, I find the idle temps to be a little warmer than when on the Slave BIOS (where the fans are always engaged at low speeds).

That said, here's what I recorded:

Ambient: 25C

Idle: 38C

Load: 83C (max recorded temperature in FurMark running the GPU stress test)

if you add offset to the cooler so that the first GPU slot is free from it, does it crashes with the top fans?
