Description

This is Bloodworks 2.0, I went from my triple 279Q setup to a single 348Q and have not looked back. Due to SLI scaling I went from 4 way Titan X Pascal to 2 way 1080 Ti SLI. As far as overclocking I got my 7900X up to 4.8ghz at 1.32V with temps under 75c (it's delided.) And my memory which comes with a 3333mhz XMP up to 3800MHZ. My 960 Evos are in raid 0 and my read and write speeds are 3gbps. My CPU Z score is 6847 multicore and 561 single core. GPU temps sit under 47c at full load and CPU temp hits 74c at full load. I highly recommend the Rampage VI Apex motherbaord if you are into overclocking.

What will you be using this PC for holy ****. Also wouldn't 4 titans be alot more powerful than 2 1080 tis?

Sometimes... Alot of things SLI doesn't even function properly past 2 cards let alone good usage out of 4

Technically yes, but SLI is a very strange thing. It can be configured to work but im gonna guess that it takes a while and a lot of troubleshooting to really get it working.

That set up looks angry and volcanic, like if I put my hand in the case it will melt from the awesomeness. Nice!

Wow. And I was happy about completing a single 1080ti + 6700k build. This thing is just absolutely amazing in every single respect. Plz feature. +1

Why all the hate against the i9 line here from people who don't even have any builds on their profile? I smell jealousy.

Is that 3333mhz to 3800mhz XMP something that only comes with those 64gb kits?

  • 2 points

No the XMP only goes up to 3333 at 1.35V 16 16 18 18 38 timings but the apex can go up to 3800 at 1.4V not touching the timings

You know this build is bleeding edge when PCPP doesn't even have a listing for this motherboard yet.

Congrats on getting it to 4.8Ghz with the delid! That can compete very well with a 7700k in single threaded. Mind sharing Cinebench single core numbers?

  • 2 points

210 on single core in cinibench for reference a 7700k is around 195

  • 2 points

Well there you go. 10 cores with single core performance faster than a stock 7700K! :D
