Description

Update, I just upgraded the AMD Radeon R9 270x to an MSI NVidia GTX 970!!! After the course of about six months of saving and research, she is finally complete. Every part within this budget build was specifically hand selected by myself to compliment every other piece performance-wise as well as aesthetically. there were no compromises with this build; every component seen here was planned. I ran this build on the bench for a good month due to some pieces being harder to acquire based on availability. this is my second build. My first being an impromptu budget build built out of an existing HP home desktop. so, in essence, this is my first real gaming build. Im Also Running a Corsair K70 Red LED keyboard w/ Cherry MX Blue switches, Redragon Mammoth RGB gaming mouse, the Afterglow Prismatic Wireless RGB Headset with Dolby 5.1 and some M Audio AV30 studio monitor speakers. hope you guys like it.

I know im getting a lot of hate for it, but based on my experience with SSDs (which is none) moving to this drive from a traditional mechanical is a huge improvement. It doesnt perform as fast as other SSDs but EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS IS A "VALUE" SSD. For the record, i do regret not spending the extra $20 for a Samsung 840 EVO

What kind of LED's do you have in that case? I have the exact same case and wanted to get bright red LED's for the case. Nice build BTW +1

I think they have the nzxt controller for rgb lighting. It depends what color of red you're looking for. I just purchased it and found that the red is more of an orange than pure red. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but that was as close as I've come to red deep red. I couldn't get it to turn deep red. I'm not sure if this helps at all.

Anyone who has seen me around on PCPP will know that I love the NZXT H440.

+1, thanks so much for the build, impeccable part selection, and great cable management. May I ask how hot the 270X gets when under load? And could you recommend it over a GTX 750 ti? Thanks so much in advance.

Why people still buy the V300?

People tell me to stay away from that sssd but I don't know why

Kingston are using asynchronous NAND in the V300, they are much cheaper and has **** performance, they give the V300 with good NAND memory to the review companies. Just don't buy the V300.

I'm completely new to all this. What exactly does asynchronous NAND do/why does it matter that it's asynchronous?

Do you like the Redragon M801? How would you compare it to Logitech's G502?

Ok so why did you choose the Seagate Barracuda 500GB? Seagate has a bad rep for storage devices. I've done my research and now stand by HGST as magnetic storage.

Dude I have a 10 year old 500gb sea gate barracuda in my pc. And has been running almost every day for 10 years so lemme know when a 10 year old drive that still spins everyday is bad. This drive could stop spinning tomorrow and I wouldn't care it lasted forever.

I dont see why he went with the 500 drive instead of a 1TB however uh seagate and WD Caviar Blue are the same ****** crap. It's all pointless brand preference.
