This is really similar to my build, which has me excited to put mine all together.

Toying with ditching the H150i for a Noctua air cooler for long term reliability, but I do like how clean the water coolers are.

lol white aio for the aesthetic, thank you tho

Would the Noctua air cooler fit in the Meshify case (with x570 and 2080 Super)? I am debating the same questions but I'm concerned about the sizing issues!

This is one of the best builds ive seen given whats being used. I just commented trying to give some advice to someone who spent 5,500 on a single build, he bought a few things you wouldnt normally get but still, he didnt have much experience and just blew thousands. I know because he said hes never needed to go into any bios befire and was pairing weird products together. good job man this should be a copy and paste for some people. especially with the 3700x, its got such a low energy usage it barely ever needs an aio cooler but is still a good idea to have one for constant overclocks.

  • 2 points

ye i overclocked my 3700x to 4.25Ghz at 1.3V, pretty rubbish case in general tho. But i like the aesthetics of it

  • 2 points

thats a damn good overclock, uses like 35- 40 percent less energy than the 3900x, even the 3800x uses a bunch of power. You no like the case? NZXT isnt super highend but they did a good change for airflow with the pull push system, you should try thermaltakes view 71 tg rgb case, its like 20 bucks more and really good airflow and cable managements easier as well.

  • 1 point

ye i hopefully it gets better when asrock releases boost clock fix for mobo. i dont like the case for the price tbh. i right now i just have pull on the radiator but i could do push i think i have enough clearance. tbh i probably wont be changing much about this pc maybe if i win the lotto ill get a 2080ti lol

  • 2 points

Lmao it would take the lotto to get one of those bad boys for sure. Word ive been reading about recently is apparently theres an asian developer that has their hands in the gpu market and is supposed to give amd and nvidia a run for their money. AMD has been getting better too. Comparatively to what they were doing a few years back and beyond. good things will be coming for us all in 2020. fingers crossed

how did this really great hardware and beautiful design go for 1400??? really nice build.

All this for only 1400? Where does it say that? I'm looking for the same build, pretty close to it.

  • 1 point

Thanks to amazon prime day tbh

  • 2 points

Honestly, that is a clean looking build. I wanted to get the 2080 super, but i couldnt find any so i got the 2080 trio instead. Other than the case, mobo, and ryzen 3 we have the same build. Over all, I'm jealous of yours.

I was lucky and i was awake when these first released. So i was one of the first, it sold out in like 2mins. Im pretty sure your build is amazing too. I love this

  • 2 points

How do you deal with all of the RGB? What software do you use to get them all to sync? Your mobo software?

  • 1 point

lol i have to use different ones, icue for aio cam for fans and case, g skill for ram, asrock for mobo, precision for GPU

  • 2 points

Hey Kelvin! Really liking the build and I'm doing something a little similar my question is how did you approach the fan situation did you have some extras? The m100i comes with two and the case comes with 2. I'm assuming you used the 2 that come with the case and mounted them to the radiator and then put the 2 for the m100i in the back for exhaust?

  • 1 point

This question is interesting for me too. Can I use the fans from corsair for back and up of case? In part list you have one Nzxt aer rgb listed is it necessary?

  • 2 points

So i used 1 of the aer 140 fans (included) in the top as exhaust and i bought a aer 120 fans in back as exhaust then used the aio as stock as intake. i have a spare 120 non rgb fan and an aer 140 fan that were included.

tried to go for brand new, not much build

How did you mount the radiator for the cooler? I copied you and someone else re this case and cooler and can't seem to mount it :(

Also doesn't the pump come with thermal paste applied?

  • 1 point

ye i had trouble with that in the beginning, so u have to put the fan mount in between the fans and the rad. so the radiator, mount then fan and it works. the pump did but i messed up the installation i was getting 60 degrees idle, when i reapplied im getting high 30s/low 40s idle and 60s under load.

How did you connect all the fans and control the rgb

  • 1 point

i connected the nzxt aer fans to the smart device and the corsair ones together. i use cam for the nzxt aer fans and icue for the aio

Wait so the nzxt hub can be used for both for nzxt and corsair fan rgb as well?

Hey Kevin, I'm a noobie at this, first-time building ever so I was wondering if you can answer a few questions -for the RGB case fans do you have to buy 2? -does the Corsair Liquid cooling require active water refilling or require an external water source -for the Cable, did you buy cables (C-series that had individual cables) or the Pro-Series Cable KIT

-Thanks again; awesome aesthetics

  • 1 point

the cables are cablemodes but you can get something similar on amazon for less if youre on a budget

for the Case Fans: NZXT AER RGB 2 Fans @ $27.99 (top & back fans) did you have to buy those separately or did it came with the NZXT Tower?

  • 1 point

im not op but im pretty sure they come with the case

  • 1 point

Thx for reply mate, I was wondering hows the CPU & GPU temperature when you are playing games. Debating of I should stick with this case or the Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic -Base on what I've read looks like this case might keep temperatures cooler but I could be wrong

  • 1 point

Yo mate how's you make the corsair rgb fans work? Did you use the nzxt commander?

  • 1 point

Does the 2 120's in the front look weird? Ive been debating on buying this case or not and I really want to pair it with this nice *** white corsair cooler but I thought it would look off having only 2 120's when the case is supposed to have 140s. My other option is getting a kraken x62 and going all out NZXT... Also I reccomend a white GPU backplate, would make the build sooo sexy, but all around great build man.
