Description

I use my PC for everything from school to gaming just like many others. Because of how often I use it I put a lot of money into it(lots of money for my standards). They didn't have the power supply on the parts list but i'm using the corsair SF450. I should have gotten the i7-6700k instead of the 6700 but at the time I was new to building and didn't do enough research. I don't need to overclock though so i'm not mad.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Quiet and cool. The installing method with screws is a little janky but works.

Motherboard

Nice looking (imo). The pci-e slot is not as reinforced as i would like but i'm not moving my pc and the screws keep it in place so no problem.

Storage

Cheap for a ssd but is still pretty fast to boot.

Storage

Its a hdd. It does sometimes make like a metal hitting metal noise occasionally but it doesn't bother me so whatever.

Video Card

Love it. Handles everything I throw at it. A little bulky but who cares.

Case

Great looking case and very easy to build in.

Monitor

Got them both for $99.99 and for that price, I love them.

Keyboard

I think that it is a little expensive compared to what you can get for other keyboards and the space and shift buttons wobble too much for the price.

Mouse

Love this mouse. The braided cable is great. The weights are a cool addition and it is a quality product.

looks good. i agree with your decision to not overclock. i will never do that myself.

cable management is beautiful, and i like that you choose a noctua fan.

A very good looking, simple build. Did you use any bracket to install that sfx from corsair?

I used the silver stone ATX to sfx adapter

Sure love that case. Good use of the SFX power supply for more GPU breathing space opposed to an ATX psu. I'm conflicted between going with a blower cooler or aftermarket GPU myself, how are your GPU temps / fan speed?

Also, how short were the psu cables? The phantek extensions work fine and just tuck excess away?

My GPU temps are just as good as in my old mid tower case.( Don't know numbers off the top of my head). The psu cables were short. But I wanted the extensions anyways so works out just fine.

nice cable management! did you add any additional fans or single sys/cpu fan? I want to add more fans with same case and motherboard but don't know how...

No, I just have the stock fans. I wanna get some other ones just to be a little quieter even though the stock ones aren't too loud.
