Keep in mind some of these parts were pre purchased to carry over to the future build ( Approx $600+). The actual budget build originally was about $350. I went ahead and put the current state of the build up here. I built this just to game while i save up the money to build a beast. Plays most games on high. Current games coming out are putting quite a strain on it though. The $350 base build is even cheaper now. This really isn't worth buying now because new low end cpus blow this thing away. Prices set to 0 were things I already had laying around.

I really hope that you don't get too many comments about how 'bad' that 8350 is. I've never used it, but I know that even for how cheap it can be had today, some people still don't appreciate other's opinions which is just a shame is all. I can appreciate a build that looks great, performs great, and sticks to an intended budget!

I know that you state that 'budget alternatives' nowadays would blow it away performance-wise, but it's still certainly respectable. +1 to you and the awesome build. Looking forward to that future build!

i love how you used the fx line :) people think its garbage, but its high ghz is pretty nice. You should overclock it to 5ghz and see what happens :)

Nice build you got man! I was just wondering if you had to update the MOBO's bios to use the FX 8350 or if it was already compatible. Thanks for the answer and enjoy your PC :)

why is the rear fan on intake rather than exhaust?
