Description

The Blue Beast Mk.1 has been a fantastic PC and I used it to play a huge Genre of games across a couple of years. I am writing this in hindsight as I am about to embark on the construction of the Mk.2 Blue Beast which should hopefully be better and bluer!

The Fractal Case was a joy to work in, however you cannot clean the dust filter on the front, and there is no dust filter on the top of the case which causes a lot of dust to settle through. I also had another problem with the case whereby the front fan mounts (Not the Fans themselves) would vibrate and cause excessive noise which led to them being turned off most of the time.

The Processor has been fantastic, even more so if you consider that the Chip is dated from 2012! However it has now reached the stage where it has become the bottleneck for the system regarding games. That isn't to say that it performs badly, it is just the weakest component.

Did you overclock the 6300??

I have mine OC'd to 4.2Ghz and I have no issues at 1080p with a GTX 750
