Hi! This is the second gaming PC I have built, for myself. This computer especially holds a lot of value to me because I didn't personally build it but my girlfriend did, she built it as I taught her and it just really meant a lot I got to share my hobby with her.

This PC is primarily used for gaming but aside from that I use it for my work as a Computer Science major at Arizona State University. The goal when choosing the parts for this build were to make it small, with the mini iTX form factor as well as make it fit the monochromatic colorway. I really just wanted a really clean aesthetic in the system so I set all the rgb to just white. I wanted the lights to highlight the build and let the parts themselves just look good.

I did have some problems while building this PC however. I bought the case used off of amazon, something I will never do again because of some obvious oversights on my part. Firstly the case never came with the necessary box of screws, and it is missing all of the included fans. This warranted a trip to home depot to get the screws I needed which are a few mm too long but you can't really notice at all in the case. As for the missing fans thankfully I was using an aio so those fans could be used for intake and then I stole an old bitfenix fan that my brother had laying around for the exhaust, it gets the job done.

The only regrets I have with this build is probably the processor, I definitely should have just held off for another few weeks for the 3rd gen ryzen chips but this one is still really good and gets the job done very well. Future plans for the system is to upgrade the gpu to the 70 or 80 variant of the anticipated nvidia cards that are coming and then I also plan on upgrading the cpu whenever 4th gen ryzen releases and then from their I'd say I will be pretty satisfied for a few years but who knows what the future will hold after that.

Part Reviews

Great price to performance, no issues at all after almost a full year of use.

CPU Cooler

First time installation was a bit of a hassle but that most likely goes for all aios, great cooling performance and is very quiet.

Beautiful board aesthetically only complaints is the existence of only one usb 2 header and the location of the HD audio header is so bad the ugly cable has to run across the entire board so I just left that unplugged and use the audio i/o on the board.

Beautiful, cheap, and fast. All I could ask for. 16gb is more than enough.

Highly underrated ssd if you ask me, blazing fast. Only complaint is the speed fall off as it fills up.

Mass storage drive for games, reliable and gets the job done.

Video Card

Great gpu, plays all the games I want at 1080p and pushes my esports titles past 144 fps so I take full advantage of my monitor, couldn't ask for more.. until I get a 1440p panel.

Great case, very attractive and cable management is great, but don't buy used from amazon.

Power Supply

Efficient and plenty of power, semi modular design is very helpful when building an itx system.
