Time to ditch those TN panels for IPS.

Why?

It looks significantly better and given the expensive hardware and what it's capable of, it just makes sense to me. Why wouldn't you want to get the most out of your nearly three thousand dollar PC...

Just my two cents. I assumed they probably already had the monitors, which is why I suggested getting something better.

many ips panels have ghosting problems when gaming, and tn panels will generally be a lot more responsive, also, the monitors that he has (s2716dgr) have great color accuracy and image quality for a tn panel, some even say that it is equal to many ips panels, but only on the newer revisions of this monitor.

I am not having any issues with these TN panels. Better picture, color, and light quality than any IPS ive ever had.

Unless people see a side by side comparison it is hard to budge people to go from TN to IPS. I will never to back to TN, the nasty blue filter it puts on everything is intolerable. I also feel the IPS/VA have achieved respectable, some may even say more than adequate, response times in the past couple of years.

I saw these monitors side by side with other IPS monitors at the store, and ultimately decided the over all quality with the refresh rate, response time, and gsync made these the choice for me. Also I love the small bezel.

Do you happen to know anything about the s2719dgf versions? As far as I can tell the only difference is that it is Freesync vs yours which are gsync. Given the cheaper price, I was going to with the Freesync version but wasn't sure if it was compatible with Nvidia without any issues.
