Description

I built this PC mainly for gaming, but I do some video editing and streaming as well from time to time. A lot of people said I should go with intel i5 processor instead of amd fx,and now after 2 months of using fx 8320 I disagree with them 100%.I've played Far Cry 4,GTA V,Dying Light,Shadow of Mordor,Project CARS,Witcher 3 on this PC,and I can almost max everything on them with decent FPS.In my opinion AMD is much better for budget builders than intel,it does awesome in games, and I really don't know why is there so much hate about it... Sorry for bad pictures,my phone is potato.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great value CPU,works great in every game.Sometimes it gets loud when playing games, but I will buy aftermarket cooler soon.

Motherboard

Decent motherboard for budget, has a lot features for low price. No problems with it yet

Memory

Works really well,no problems whatsoever.

Storage

Best HDD you can get for storing your games and stuff.

Video Card

Best edition of 7970,works amazing, looks amazing, everything about it is amazing! I can overclock it up to 1200 MHz and it will run cool and silent, but there is not even need for that because on stock you can max out most of games. It looks great with cool backplate and LEDs.

Power Supply

Great PSU.nice cables, low temperatures, and very very very silent.

Monitor

Cheap beautiful 24" monitor, picture quality on it is amazing !

l wonder why you chose to use single-chanel RAM. If you got two 4GB DIMM's, you would effectively double the speed. It would help with rendering and streaming. It is otherwise a great build.

Because I want to be able to upgrade to 32 GB

TheDitboy 1 point 23 months ago

Honestly, 8 GB is overkill rn, so 16 would be sufficient for the lifetime of your build.
